Tensions continue to rise around the possibility of shutting down the state of Jalisco for 14 days to stop the contagion chain. Governments of Puerto Vallarta and Jalisco, along with the mayor and governor, continued to broadcast their calls to follow guidelines on their Facebook pages:

Obligatory use of face masks in public is confirmed by local sources, along with fines of up to $800 pesos for those that don’t use them:
