Jalisco Folk Dances

The Puerto Vallarta-based Cuicacalo Folkloric Dance Troupe, directed by Carlos Enrique Peña, performed traditional dances from the state of Jalisco, as part of a Mother’s Day celebration in a public school in Pitillal, and I was there to capture the action. Why? Because my partner is in it! Santiago has been dancing since he was a child, and even toured abroad with Puerto Vallarta’s acclaimed Xiutla Dance Troupe at some point. Few things make me as happy as watching him on his own! (Look for his big moment on the video below at 7:00!)
