For over four years now, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Alphonse Deserville photographing his spectacular custom-made bathing suits for his online catalog. I so much admire Alphonse, I’ve featured him before in this blog. Throughout the many shared photo sessions, I’ve often chuckled about what I affectionately call The Alphonse Maneuver, a subtle but effective technique to park your butt in your bathing suit and make it seem more prominent—particularly useful for those of us challenged in that department! You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish by simply sticking your hands under your trunks, grabbing, and lifting your humble cheeks! Simply click on the photos below for specific instructions. Photo #5 features a side-by-side comparison. And if you want to take a peek behind the scenes (no pun intended), check out photo #6. (Check out my comfy green Crocs serving as placement points for the model!) And for an incredible array of bathing suits in all colors and styles, and for all body types, make sure to visit Alphonse while you are in Puerto Vallarta!
